Long Grass Fee Policy

Our Long Grass Fee policy is in place to streamline service for you and to compensate for the
additional labor time and added strain to our equipment.

Whether this is your first mow of the season or if participating in the No Mow May initiative, lawns
between 6-9 inches tall will incur a fee (per occurrence) equal to 50% of the typical mow price. If
your grass is between 9-12 inches high, you will see an upcharge of 100% of your regular mowing
price. If lawns exceed a foot tall, we may have to provide a customized quote, which you’ll have to
approve before we come out for service.

FAQs
Long grass is most common on your first service. Additional charges will be incurred for
grass 6+ inches tall for several reasons, including but not limited to the following:
○ You choose to skip a mow.
○ The first service after reactivating, pausing or canceling your account.
○ Change the frequency of your mows to have more time between each service.

○ Participation in the No Mow May initiative.

How does this fee help you?
○ Most other lawn care companies require you to pay a custom quote for your long
grass or will not service an overgrown property at all. Having our long grass fee
policy in place makes your service more likely to be completed on time, and ensures
fair payment is provided for the additional time and effort given.
